In April 2021, Van Essen Instruments joined Vitens in the field to offer our support and experience for a specific groundwater monitoring project in the Netherlands. Vitens is the largest Dutch water company and supplies 5.6 million business and private customers with tap water. Van Essen Instruments has a long history of cooperation with Vitens first beginning in the 1990s.
Recently, Vitens purchased VEI telemetry for a specific project where groundwater level data and data from other instrumentation provide the backbone to investigate the possible relationship between groundwater levels and soil movement. The project has over 95 groundwater monitoring points spread out over a relatively small area of the Netherlands. Many of these monitoring points are in nested wells ideal for the Diver-Link triple.
